The Coffee House at Mountain Gate

I’ve been to this coffee shop multiple times, and every single visit has been fantastic. I order the same thing every single time. Bacon & eggs on toasted Turkish with a side of baked beans. All for just under $20. This place is hands-down the best I’ve been to for breakfast. Delicious, fresh, generous in portions size, great prices and always cooked to perfection. They are consistent in always serving high quality food. This has become my go-to breakfast spot, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. If you're looking for great food, fast service, and a consistently excellent experience, this is the place to be!

Came here for a morning coffee and stayed for an early lunch. Spacious and comfortable indoor seating. Newspapers available to read. Friendly staff and quick service. Roasted vege focaccia generous and tasty. Cappuccino good. Loyalty card. Good value.

We popped in here for breakfast to see what they had to offer, and first impression was with the QR code to order food. We much prefer the human interaction of someone taking our order, but we followed the instructions and ordered online via the QR code. The online ordering was thorough, and it gives you options on how to customise your order (runny eggs, crispy bacon, etc). However it was a bit of a shock to see the high prices compared to other cafes. None the less, we ordered, and the service was extremely quick and friendly, and the quality of the food was excellent. So yes, you may pay a little bit more than other cheaper cafes around, but you'll receive excellent service, and top quality food. The only other observation was with the sound of the coffee machine. We sat near the front door, and that coffee machine is loud! So maybe consider sitting outside if the sound is too much for you.

On a Saturday I came to this restaurant for breakfast, as soon as I walked in I noticed the restaurant was very clean and the staff were very friendly, I ordered the Brekki roll that was around $11 and that was a great price and I also got a Hot Chocolate. The brekki roll was great! It was full of flavour and worth the price and I could have anytime! It was a big serve and definitely filled me. The hot chocolate was also very delicious, it tasted great and warmed me up and it wasn’t plain like other places. I recommend coming here! I came here because I was going past and I was hungry!

One of the best egg bennedicts I've had in ages. Superbly poached eggs with hollandaise, there's bacon on this particular eggs benny instead of ham and was cooked spot on along with the hash brown we added on and the Turkish bread is a nice improvement over the classic. Coffee great and the cold pressed OJ very good. Will definitely be back to this place

Mostly excellent. My main go to is smashed avo and poached eggs always fabulous although i have reiterated runny egg at time. All Staff excellent. My companion stated eggs Benedict excellent as well. A slip up on BLT but addressed by Grant.

Lots of vegetarian options and the big veg breakfast was huge and was very well cooked. Could not finish it. Also had the corn fritters which was delicious. Clean and fresh. Will be coming again for sure. Haven’t tried the coffee tho… Second and third visit both have been fantastic. Very quick and great service. Chilli scramble with a great chilli flavour and really good heat to it. The online ordering option is fantastic and you can see all the options available.
